JFK Airport 32 Bridge Structures - 2000 Biennial Inspection

B & H Engineering, P.C is performing the 2000 Biennial Inspection of thirty two (32) bridge structures located in the J.F. Kennedy International Airport for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.

Bridge types include curved girder, prestressed concrete and continuous multi-stringer.

This assignment covers the inspection of 4 Taxiway bridges, 2 Pedestrian bridges , 26 Roadway bridges; the Load Ratings; creation of inventories for the 4 new bridges and updating of all of the existing bridge inventories (with current technical advisories updates); preparation of Inspection and Project Final Reports; quality control review of reports and inspection documentation; notification and report preparation of flagged conditions; creation of the BIN Folders for 4 new roadway bridges; planning and scheduling inspection; coordinating inspection with Port Authority personnel and Terminal occupants; planning and requesting lane closures; procuring access equipment necessary for inspection; and providing and monitoring maintenance and protection of traffic.

The Inspection Report includes the following: Condition Summary, Inspection Findings and Photographs, Updating Plans, Summary of Major Deficiencies, Primary Member Ratings, and Details or Situation Requiring Special Attention During Inspection; Flag reports; CADD Drafting Using Autocad 12. Also included is the creation of a CD-ROM containing the Inspection Report.
