Richmond and Kings Counties<br>1999 and 2000 Biennial and<BR>Iterim Inspection of 450 Bridges



B & H Engineering is performing the 1999 - 2000 Biennial and Interim Bridge Inspection in the boroughs of Brooklyn and Staten Island as a Joint Venture Partner with Parsons Brinckerhoff for NYSDOT.

The inspection is for approximately 455 bridges with 2550 spans.

The biennial inspection includes: review of existing BIN folder, inspection and ratings for members and their paint condition, quality control review on reports and inspection documentation; notification and report preparation of flagged conditions; disposition of 1998 Biennial Inspection flagged conditions; planning and scheduling inspection; inventory verification; coordinating inspection with on-going construction contracts; planning and requesting lane closures; procuring access equipment necessary for inspection; and providing and monitoring maintenance and protection of traffic.

The biennial inspection also includes the preparation of the BIN report and load ratings.
